  12. Is anyone out there familiar with the distinctive ring operation of
  13. the Zoom Comstar 28.8?

  15. I have this modem and it is working fine, however, I would like to
  16. utilize the distinctive ring capabilities is supports.
  17.  
  18. Do I need a special ring pattern from the phone company?  Is it
  19. inherently supported with no special setup?  
  20.  
  21. The manual leaves alot to be desired in most areas, but especially
  22. this one.  It lists it under the specs, but gives no further info.
